touscoprod offers a selection of films - you can be a coprod by sponsoring a film for a minimum of 10€. If at least 100% of the budget is raised before the deadline, the community co-produces the film. If not, it is removed from the site and everyone receives a full refund.



The contribution raised by touscoprod provides additional budget for the film in partnership with the producer or distributor and forms a coprod community to support the film when it is released.



touscoprod favours independent films which need communities to get publicity and better ticket sales.
 

Register to become a member and create a profile to share and discuss film projects in the catalogue. Ask project leaders (distributors, producers, etc.) questions and give your opinion of a film.

touscoprod offers you a chance to co-produce a film and be a part of its development: from mini-series to feature films, magazine programmes, documentaries, short films and so on.
Your choices can enable films to be made by investing as little as 10€. 

Form your network by choosing your favourite coprod (whose activities you will monitor) and by recruiting coprod sponsors (who monitor your activity). Stand out from the crowd by making relevant comments about the films.

By becoming a coprod of the film, you will be a stakeholder in its development and have access to many services including: 

- The latest news and privileged information 
- Your name can appear in the trailers of the films that you co-produce
- Your name can appear in the credits of the film
- You can participate in some creative decisions (casting, scenery, posters, photographs, etc.)
- Ask the film team questions (directors, actors, producers, technicians, scriptwriters, etc)
- See a premiere of the film streamed online with your name in the credits
- Invitation to the premiere at cinemas (depending on seats available)
- An invitation to spend a day at the shoot (depending on seats available)
- The possibility of being selected as an extra
- Downloads of the press and media kits to do your own promotion of the film
- Access to exclusive content (interviews, extracts, making of, photos from the shoot, etc.).

You can comment on project news and creative choices made by the authors and the director. Ask the producer questions, make suggestions, etc. In a word, bring the project alive!

In order to participate in financing the film together with professional producers, distributors and broadcasters, a minimum budget is allocated to each project as well as a deadline. 

Once this minimum threshold has been reached, touscoprod guarantees to co-produce the project and people can join right up to the deadline. If the project does not raise the budget required in the time allocated to it, coprod receive a full refund. 

With this budget and this coprod community behind it, touscoprod negotiates shares in the film's profits with the producers or distributors.

As a coprod you get your share of the film's profits - when the film's production costs have been paid, touscoprod pays you 80% of the profits during the first 3 years of release and keeps 20% to pay its own costs.

The production of a film represents a lot of investment (the average budget of a French feature film is 5 million €) and profitability is uncertain. Project selection is very strict and therefore, as a result of economic necessity, not limited only to creative criteria.
In addition, an average of 12 films are released each Wednesday. It is becoming increasingly difficult for films with small and medium-sized budgets to continue to exist faced with the marketing machines of bigger productions. Of course the French system of funding, via the National Cinema Centre and regional aid, allows part of the profits to be redistributed to the creation of new work.
touscoprod, however, goes further by making it possible for you to support films - by giving them financial resources, by doing their promotion for them, giving them more visibility and therefore more chances of commercial success. 

A film with 2,000 coprod who have contributed a total of 100,000 € is a real measure of success.
